Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Little Rock, AR is seeking an Industrial HVAC Technician to diagnose and repair complex HVAC, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems on the manufacturing floor. You will perform preventive maintenance, interpret schematics, and support new equipment installations.

A Journeyman or Master HVAC Technician license and 3 years of industrial HVAC experience are required. Openings on first shift (Mon–Fri, 7am–3pm) with potential overtime by business need.

What to Expect

As an Industrial HVAC Technician you will being a Journeyman or Master HVAC Technician licensure, be fully capable of diagnosing and leading repairs on complex HVAC, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting new equipment installations across the manufacturing plant.

Your Role Day to Day

As an Industrial HVAC Technician you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and leading repairs on HVAC system breakdowns while supporting root-cause analysis efforts. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC principles, including refrigerant handling, recovery, and charging, as well as the ability to interpret complex schematics and resolve technical issues on production and facility equipment. Duties include performing accurate and timely preventive maintenance, coordinating safety procedures such as lockout/tagout and safe lift operation, and supporting the installation of new manufacturing equipment.

What You Will Have (Basic Requirements)

• Journeyman or Master HVAC Technician (Class C Required)
• 3 years minimum cumulative industrial HVAC experience within manufacturing and other industrial related industries
• Ability to read schematics

Top Candidates Will Also Have (Preferred Requirements)

• Prior experience within a Caterpillar facility
• Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting on HVAC Production and Facility equipment
• Advanced electronic, pneumatic and Hydraulic systems knowledge
