Job summary

Lightera is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to ensure operation of HVAC equipment across manufacturing and office spaces. The role involves mechanical, electrical, and related duties with a focus on safe, efficient system performance.

Responsibilities include independent planning, supervising trades helpers, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and maintaining control systems. EPA 608 certification and two years of trades experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of an accredited trades school with certification of completion or equivalent practical experience.
• EPA 608 Certification is preferred and admissible.
• Safety-conscious with PPE, clean/organized work area, and health & safety policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Plan work assignments independently with minimal supervision.
• Train and oversee Helpers and Junior Trades Workers as assigned.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues using trades knowledge.
• Maintain and repair HVAC and related equipment, including controls and electrical components.
• Monitor HVAC systems via building automation and address issues using data.
