Job summary

Chemours in El Dorado, AR is seeking a Maintenance/HVAC Technician to support HVAC systems, pumps, piping, and process equipment. The role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical and instrumentation maintenance, and the ability to read P&ID drawings and control schematics.

You will interface with I&E engineers, operators, and vendors to ensure reliable plant operation. The position may involve 12-hour rotating shifts or 8–10 hour days, with safety equipment and elevated work duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of industrial maintenance experience or technical training preferred.
• Experience in HVAC, E&I or mechanical maintenance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment per manufacturer specifications.
• Disassemble, clean, and maintain compressors, pumps and heat exchangers.
• Troubleshoot control circuits and perform instrument calibrations.
• Read and interpret P&ID, loop sheets, electrical drawings, and ladder logic.
