Zachry Group is seeking an industrial Helper to support our field operations on a busy construction site in North Carolina. The role requires basic hands-on experience, ability to follow directions, and reliable transportation to coordinate daily tasks.

You will assist with maintaining equipment, identifying tools, and performing routine maintenance under supervision. The job emphasizes safety, teamwork, and readiness to work 7 days as needed in a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• 1–12 months of experience as an industrial Helper.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work 7 days as needed.
• Must meet all physical demands.
• Experience on an industrial construction project.
• Must have all the required tools.

Responsabilités

• Identify all tools required for tasks.
• Identify safety risks and required precautions.
• Assist with detecting problems in machines and equipment.
• Assist with disassembling, repairing and replacing parts.
• Assist with performing tests to ensure machinery runs smoothly.
• Assist with preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Assist with cleaning and lubricating machinery.
• Assist with basic diagnostic tests of machinery.
• Assist with using measuring tools to check dimensions.
• Assist with operating engine lathes, grinders, and files.
• Assist with unloading and moving equipment using cranes and dollies.
• Follow supervisor directions.
• Other duties as assigned.
