Job summary

The Systems Group in Ghent, KY is seeking an energetic Skilled Helper to support day-to-day operations and contribute to long-term strategy for our NAS team. The role involves keeping the work area safe and organized, restocking materials, and assisting journeymen with pipefitting or welding tasks.

Applicants should have prior industrial experience, be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, and wear OSHA Met-Guard boots.

Qualifications

• Previous skilled helper experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• OSHA Met-Guard boots provided or reimbursed by company.

Responsibilities

• Clean work area
• Restock supplies and materials
• Assist with lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and workpieces
• Disassemble and remove damaged materials from the work area
• Assist journeyman employees with task-related to pipefitting or welding
• Use power tools when applicable
