Job summary

Randstad USA seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to repair heavy machinery, perform mechanical teardowns, and rebuild high-tolerance equipment to OEM standards.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience in heavy manufacturing, knowledge of drive trains, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical safety. Physical stamina is needed to lift up to 50 lbs and work extended shifts, including weekends and overtime where required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in a heavy manufacturing, processing, or production plant.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical drive trains, power transmission systems, gearing, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Basic understanding of motor controls and electrical safety (LOTO, 480V disconnects).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in tight machinery spaces, climb ladders/scaffolding, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in a heavy manufacturing, processing, or production plant.
• Mechanical Expertise: Drive trains, power transmission, gearing, hydraulics, and pneumatics knowledge.
• Tool Proficiency: Precision measuring instruments, power tools, rigging equipment, and diagnostic tools.
• Electrical Knowledge: Motor controls and basic electrical safety to isolate equipment before maintenance.
• Physical Capabilities: Lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces for long periods.
