Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. in Exton, PA is seeking a Health & Safety Inspector to support industrial safety, construction safety and safety auditing as part of our national platform.

You will provide health & safety compliance consulting and help clients improve performance toward OSHA and internal goals, traveling to client sites as needed and coordinating with project teams.

The role requires 2–5 years of safety experience, strong communication, and the ability to develop and implement safety programs.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of safety experience preferably in a construction or field service environment.
• Experience conducting OSHA health & safety audits.
• Intuitive and creative thinker with a consultative demeanor and ability to offer client solutions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Health & safety risk identification and evaluation.
• Conduct hazard evaluations including ladder assessments, confined space evaluations and JHA/PPE assessments.
• Develop and implement written health & safety programs (hazard communication, lockout/tagout, confined space, working at heights, etc.).
• Health & safety compliance inspections to evaluate conformance with OSHA and internal requirements.
• Construction or field service safety oversight.
• Schedule site visits and coordinate activity of project staff.
• Travel to client sites as needed.
• Work with client account managers to meet client expectations and expand services.
• Support various industrial operations including power, chemical, food & beverage, aerospace, rail, oil & gas, retail.
