Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• 6+ years of project engineering experience, with a focus on industrial gas turbine hardware.
• Strong background in design and/or manufacturing, including problem-solving and cross-functional coordination.
• Experience managing engineering and manufacturing activities to meet aggressive cost targets.
• Working knowledge of quality inspection systems and ability to interpret specifications per ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025.
• Proficiency with project planning software and Gantt charts for reporting and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project engineering organization and coordinate engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define project specifications and requirements with customers and internal teams, manage schedules and projected expenses, and maintain quality per contractual obligations.
• Report project status, progress, and significant issues to senior management and customers.
• Ensure resources are allocated across departments to meet contractual requirements.
• Manage project personnel by assigning responsibilities based on skills and experience.
• Collaborate with the quality department to develop quality, material, and process specifications.
• Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors to meet cost, quality, and scheduling objectives.
• Prepare accurate quotes, product plans, project schedules, and cost projections in accordance with engineering specifications and quality requirements.
• Communicate project updates to management and customers, addressing significant issues that could affect outcomes.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required, including extended assignments.
