Job summary

Labor Finders – Martinez Branch in Evans, GA is seeking an experienced Industrial Forklift Operator to move heavy building materials in a busy warehouse and metal-yard setting. You'll operate a large-capacity sit-down diesel counterbalance forklift, loading and unloading trucks and positioning materials for safe, efficient movement.

This temp-to-hire role requires at least 2 years of large-capacity forklift experience, a customer-focused attitude, and dependable attendance for 45–50+ hours

Qualifications

• Experience operating large-capacity, sit-down counterbalance forklifts.
• Ability to discuss equipment, capacities, load sizes, and material-handling responsibilities.
• Comfort working around long, wide, heavy, and elevated loads.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, good judgment, and willingness to learn.
• Customer-focused attitude, respectful communication, and professional conduct.
• Availability for 45–50+ hours per week, overtime is a required part of the job.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but the client will qualification processes.

Responsibilities

• 80% - Forklift Operations: Load/unload trucks; move, stage, and retrieve building materials; handle large loads.
• 10% - Cleanup and Material Handling: Maintain organized areas and assist with general duties.
• 10% - Customer Service: Assist with pickups and inquiries; load vehicles; interact professionally.
