Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Fixed Equipment Maintenance Technician in East TN to perform servicing, repair and alignment of industrial equipment. You will handle pipe fitting, pump repairs and belt splicing, with strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The role requires basic mechanical knowledge and blueprint-reading skills, with welding experience preferred. Company benefits include medical/dental/vision coverage, retirement matching, generous PTO, vacation, holidays and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Appropriate trade or related qualification in maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipment or a related discipline.
• Experience in welding is preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and fabricating from those blueprints.
• Ability to use layout/measurement tools and read micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural repair or replacement of equipment parts.
• Perform basic drive/component alignment.
• Competent in pipe fitting from 4" and larger.
• Ability to change/rebuild pump barrels for Goulds and 4GT IR pumps.
• Ability to splice conveyor belts and pack Goulds/4GT IR Pumps.
• Basic pump troubleshooting and grid coupling alignment.
• Assist in replacing conveyer belts and full shaft, hoist, crusher and compressor rebuild.
• Perform basic shaft and hoist repairs; observe LOTO and basic rigging.
