Job summary

Rural Metro in the United States is seeking a trained firefighter/EMT to respond to fires and support emergency operations in an industrial setting. You will perform fire suppression tasks, participate in safety drills, administer first aid, and ensure equipment is maintained and safety checks are conducted.

The role requires EMT-B, CPR/AED credentials, NFPA 1001 or NFPA 1081, and the ability to meet physical demands. A 12-hour shift pattern with rotating days and nights is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to fires in a timely, safe and skilled manner using hose and nozzle work and tools.
• Administer first aid as trained and assess life safety threats.
• Perform monthly fire protection checks and daily hot work permit issuance/audits.
• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment; maintain apparatus and tools.
• Maintain clean, orderly offices and grounds; complete related paperwork.
