Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC in Louisville, KY is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to construct industrial air filter frames, HEPA modules, and filter housings. You will read blueprints, measure with a tape, and assemble using power tools, rivet guns, and pneumatic fasteners.

The role requires 6+ months in manufacturing or related work, the ability to stand 8–10 hours, and a commitment to quality and safety with 5S practices and PPE usage; a daytime shift is typical.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or warehouse experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to follow SOPs and visual assembly drawings.
• Physical stamina to stand 8–10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly of air filter frames, HEPA modules, and filter housings.
• Measure, cut, seal, and fit filter media and framing to specs.
• Operate caulking guns and other tools safely.
• Inspect filters for seals, tension, alignment, and defects.
• Label, wrap, and load finished units for shipment.
• Maintain clean 5S workspace and follow safety protocols.
• Wear PPE: steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection.
