Job summary

MasterTech is seeking Industrial Technicians near an international airport in the Norfolk area. You will install and support mechanical and electrical systems at customer sites, ensuring equipment is properly installed and operational.

The role involves extensive travel to client locations for on-site work and remote support when needed. Applicants should have experience with electrical systems, SPS programming, and automation technologies, along with strong problem-solving and communication

Qualifications

Experience with printing, corrugated, prepress, postpress, flexo presses, folding and other printing/boxing equipment is highly beneficial.
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, and/or mechanical maintenance is preferred.
Experience with electrical systems (AC & DC) and three-phase wiring is a definite asset.
Knowledge of SPS programming, automation technology and drive technologies.
Ability to install, diagnose, troubleshoot, program, repair and provide recommendations.
Maintain up-to-date training while providing remote support.
Excellent customer service skills and communication.
Exceptional problem solving, troubleshooting, diagnosis and documentation.

Responsibilities

On-site installation and support of mechanical and electrical components and systems to ensure machinery is properly installed and operational.
On-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of machinery; report issues and complete documentation.
