Job summary

System One is seeking experienced Field Engineers to support a heavy industrial construction project in Lebanon, Indiana. The role focuses on developing, managing, and tracking installation, test, and turnover packages, and supporting field activities from installation through turnover.

This contract position requires at least 2 years of project engineering experience in heavy industrial environments, familiarity with P&IDs, isometrics, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Project Engineer experience.
• Experience in heavy industrial construction environments.
• Understanding of Above-ground piping systems, P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), and Isometric drawings (ISOs).
• Familiarity with Bluebeam.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office.
• Experience with 3D design/modeling software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Construction Management degree, Engineering degree, or equivalent industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Installation Work Packages
• Develop and manage Test Packages
• Conduct field walk-downs
• Prepare and manage Turnover Packages
• Create and maintain red-line as-built drawings
• Research specifications and field notes
• Develop and maintain project trackers to collect Earned Value metrics
• Apply Rules of Credit to measure work progress
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers, both verbally and in writing
• Present and defend findings using factual data and documentation
