Job summary

Clean Harbors in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair equipment across the site. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of an industrial treatment, storage, and disposal facility with hands-on mechanical, piping, pump, and tank systems expertise.

The successful candidate should be self-directed, prioritize safety, and perform tasks with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant maintenance, installations, welding, electrical or pipefitting preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to meet physical demands are required.
• Maintains safety and regulatory compliance in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and infrastructure.
• Perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery, pumps, motors, conveyors, shredders, compressors.
• Maintain piping systems, valves, fittings, flanges, and transfer systems.
• Coordinate maintenance with operations with minimal disruption to facility operations.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and inspections.
