What You'll Do

• Oversee and lead the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) process for large-scale projects using software such as Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp, etc.
• Create and maintain BIM models, perform clash detection, and produce visualizations and animations.
• Implement and oversee VDC technology initiatives like laser scanning, drones, and virtual reality.
• Support software and hardware systems used by the VDC team.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of BIM models and deliverables.
• Communicate with project stakeholders to understand needs.
• Train and mentor junior VDC specialists.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

• Associate’s degree or certificate in CAD, BIM, VDC, or related field and 6 years relevant experience, or
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and 4 years relevant experience, or
• 8 years relevant experience in lieu of education.

What You'll Bring

• Knowledge of advanced VDC concepts like BIM LOD, clash detection, and coordination.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, etc.
• Experience with VDC technologies like laser scanning, drones, virtual reality.
• Leadership ability for large-scale projects.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and quality.

Pay Range

Estimated ranges vary by location; for example, New York: $93,650 - $183,098. Actual pay depends on qualifications, experience, and location.
