Job summary

DE JONG DUKE LLC is seeking a diligent Utility Worker to support daily facility operations in Allen Park. You will help keep the facility clean and organized, assist with fixture setup, and ensure equipment is maintained and safe for production teams.

You will work as part of the operations team under the Director of Operations, performing a variety of tasks, from custodial duties to equipment upkeep, while adhering to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial maintenance.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Potential to work in various weather conditions.
• Able to use common hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, etc.).
• Able to utilize a pallet jack.
• Strong problem-solving attitude.
• Reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
• Bonus: Previous manufacturing or maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Facility maintenance, including trash removal, assisting with fixture setup, and general upkeep.
• Custodial operations.
• Help maintain facility, work areas, and equipment in safe working condition.
• Support production teams with equipment needs and maintenance requests.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
