Job summary

Advantage Manufacturing of Colorado Springs is seeking a dependable Janitor to keep the production floor and surrounding areas clean, safe, and orderly. You will regularly sanitize breakrooms, restrooms, offices, and common spaces to support quality and throughput in a busy manufacturing environment.

You will perform sweeping, mopping, and trash removal, maintain supply levels, and report hazards or maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous janitorial or manufacturing cleaning experience preferred.
• Comfort working independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable attendance and sharp attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize breakrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas to high hygiene standards.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum production floors and walkways to remove dust and residues.
• Clear metal shavings, dust, debris, cardboard, and trash from production zones.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility to keep waste streams moving.
• Clean around CNC machines and fabrication equipment without performing any machine maintenance.
• Keep aisles, emergency exits, and work areas unobstructed and clean.
• Restock soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in restrooms and breakrooms.
• Use cleaning tools and chemicals safely and correctly, following SDS.
• Flag issues—spills, hazards, or facility concerns—for management attention right away.
• Manage janitorial supply inventory and ensure cleaning equipment remains in good working order.
• Jump in on general housekeeping projects as assigned.

Step onto the production floor and set the tone for a safe, efficient day. In this role, you’ll keep a manufacturing environment spotless and organized so teams can focus on quality and throughput. Your work protects people, equipment, and product flow across production areas, offices, breakrooms, restrooms, and shared spaces.

A Day in the Life

You start with a walkthrough, noting any spills, hazards, or maintenance needs to report immediately. You’ll then:
