Job summary

MOR PPM, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for the Continental Automotive plant in Morganton, NC. You will perform air compressor maintenance, basic HVAC, electrical work, plumbing, and general maintenance to ensure smooth plant operations.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, warehouse automation care, and working shifts with potential overtime. Safety-oriented, able to read schematics, and willing to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing on technical issues.
• Be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Plumbing: PVC piping installations/repairs and leaks.
• Electrical: install/repair industrial hardware per NEC.
• Repair and maintain air compressors – 8 bar & 200 bar systems.
• Ability to work independently with basic hand tools.

• Perform preventive maintenance according to plant safety guidelines.
• Keep operations running smoothly and support plant goals.
• Complete specific maintenance tasks and participate in special projects.
