Job summary

Phoenix Tailings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the Rochester Freedom Facility’s systems, ensure safe and reliable operations, and drive maintenance programs as production begins.

The role encompasses building services, preventive maintenance, contractor coordination, and facility improvements to support startup and ongoing operations. The position offers day-to-day support initially, with growth as the site ramps up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in managing industrial facilities.
• Experience in manufacturing/chemical processing environments with maintenance ownership.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, utilities, fire protection and building-system upkeep.
• Experience establishing facilities procedures and maintenance records, coordinating upgrades and turnover.

Responsibilities

• Own site facilities operations for HVAC, ventilation, utilities, fire protection, and building systems.
• Build and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs and service records.
• Manage facilities contractors, vendor agreements, and maintenance budgets.
• Lead turnover from construction to operations and coordinate commissioning records and approvals.
• Direct response to utility disruptions and implement improvements to reduce downtime.
