Job summary

Phoenix Tailings is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager for the Rochester Freedom Facility. You will build and lead systems that keep the site safe, reliable, and ready for production, owning building services and preventive maintenance as operations begin.

The role involves managing contractors, maintaining service records, coordinating upgrades, and ensuring safety and readiness during startup. Day-to-day support will evolve with the operating model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with industrial facilities experience.
• Experience leading facilities in manufacturing or chemical processing environments.
• Knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, utilities, fire protection, and building maintenance.
• Ability to establish maintenance records and coordinate upgrades or turnover.

Responsibilities

• Own site facilities operations, including HVAC, utilities, fire protection and building systems.
• Build preventive and corrective maintenance programs and track deficiencies.
• Manage facilities contractors, vendor agreements, and service budgets.
• Lead turnover from construction to operations and plan facility improvements.
• Direct response to disruptions and implement reliability improvements.
