Job summary

Certex USA, Inc. is seeking a skilled Fabricator in Meadow Lands, PA to assemble wire rope and chain products for diverse industries. You will learn to identify materials, read specs, and perform precise cutting and fabrication while upholding safety standards.

You will operate cutting equipment and swaging machines, install fittings, and participate in testing and quality checks to ensure compliant products. This role offers on-site work with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and math skills to understand work orders and take measurements.
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure, digital micrometer, and other measuring tools.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, product specifications, and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with cutting machines, swagers, crimping tools, winches, or similar equipment is preferred.
• Ability to identify or learn wire rope, chain, fittings, and other rigging components.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe, quality work.
• Ability to manage time, stay organized, and complete assigned work on schedule.
• Reliable, willing to learn, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work orders, drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Identify materials needed to complete each order.
• Measure and cut wire rope, chain, and materials to required length.
• Fabricate and repair wire rope slings, chain slings, and lifting assemblies.
• Install fittings and labels according to instructions.
• Operate cutting equipment, swaging machines, and forklifts after training.
