Job summary

Lee Industrial Contracting in Pontiac, MI seeks an apprentice level welder/fabricator to support projects across equipment installation and fabrication. You will work under senior fabricators and foremen, following blueprints, and helping with loading/unloading materials while maintaining safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in an industrial setting, possess Arc, Mig, and torch cutting experience, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Blueprint reading is required.
• Self-directed and independent work ethic.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support other apprentices, fabricators, and senior fabricators on various projects.
• Follow instructions from foreman to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Ability to lead an apprentice on smaller projects.
• Understanding design layouts and blueprints.
• Keep the job site clean and well-organized.
• Handle loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure attention to detail and safety standards.
• Fuel and wash department vehicles.
