Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Industrial Ethernet Network Engineer to lead and standardize networking direction for North American operations. You will develop solutions, train teams, and provide design reviews.

The role requires 5+ years of related experience, a network engineering degree, and familiarity with EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and CIP Safety. You will travel up to 25% and collaborate across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Network Engineering preferred).
• 5+ years of Industrial Ethernet Network Engineer experience.
• Experience with EtherNet/IP, CIP Safety, PROFINET, and PROFIsafe.

Responsibilities

• Maintain North American Networking Standard Work.
• Maintain Ethernet training program, including Hirschmann CT1, CT2, CP1, and CP2 classes.
• Develop and maintain Industrial Ethernet and fieldbus networking standards.
• Lead cross-functional Industrial Ethernet networking team to align Dematic groups.
• Facilitate network technical reviews.
• Provide network design assistance to project teams.
• Provide network design reviews and validation.
• Provide network troubleshooting assistance to project teams.
• Conduit to Global Networking Architecture.
• Network design that incorporates cybersecurity.
