Job summary

Industrial Electric Mfg, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment across our power systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot problems, read manuals, and work with shop staff to keep production moving. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of equipment repair experience in manufacturing; familiarity with manual and CNC machine tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; at least 2 years of manufacturing equipment repair experience.
• Experience with metal and copper fabrication equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Familiarity with manual and CNC machine tool installations.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, diagnose equipment problems and recommend repairs.
• Work closely with Materials, Machine operators and Plant Managers.
• Establish relationships with vendors for repairs.
• Read parts and service manuals to recommend repairs.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Complete related paperwork and CMMS including equipment logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Parts ordering and inventory management.
• Collaborate with Facility maintenance techs as needed.
