Job summary

Cheeze Kurls, LLC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician I for 1st shift in South Beloit, IL. This full-time role pays $28.00–$37.03 hourly and requires 1–3 years of related experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.

The technician will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment, operate lifts, and assist in facilities upkeep while following GMPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires education generally equivalent to a high school diploma and one to three years related experience to become familiar with equipment and processes.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
• Must be skilled in the use and operation of common hand and power tools and measuring devices.
• If assigned to operate a motor vehicle, must have skills and knowledge to accomplish safe operation of the vehicles operated.
• Basic electrical skills including use of voltmeters, ohmmeters and pipe benders.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Capable of operating man lifts and boom lifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Maintain attendance and positive attitude.
• Support company policies and be safety conscious.
• Address or report safety concerns immediately.
• Lubricate equipment and check mechanical wear.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Assist with mechanical breakdowns and grounds maintenance.
• Operate forklifts, manlifts and boom lifts.
