Sammons Industrial is seeking a Service Technician I to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklift and material handling equipment. You will perform inspections, rebuild major components, document service details, and uphold safety standards on every job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with at least 1 year of forklift repair experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license; Hyster-Yale certifications a plus.
• Team-first attitude and commitment to safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment, including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, drivetrains, brakes, steering, and lifting systems.
• Complete equipment inspections, rebuild major components as needed, perform basic welding, and ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and Briggs quality standards.
• Maintain accurate service documentation, manage parts and supply, and keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Put safety first by following OSHA, DOT, and company safety practices while participating in ongoing technical training and certifications.
