Job summary

Sammons Industrial, LLC is seeking a Technician II in Houston, TX to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites and in our shop. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic welding, while documenting service and managing parts for repairs.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years forklift experience, strong mechanical skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 3 years forklift repair experience.
• Ability to travel to customer sites and provide high-quality service.
• Valid driver's license and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain forklifts and related equipment.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic welding.
• Complete service documentation and manage parts for repairs.
• Support safety-first culture and participate in training.
