METTLER Packaging LLC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production machinery. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and repair components to keep lines running smoothly.

You will collaborate with production and engineering teams to schedule interventions with minimal downtime, maintain detailed maintenance records, and assist in installing new equipment.

Competenze

• Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; proven industrial maintenance experience; strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge; ability to read manuals, blueprints and schematics; safety-aware in industrial environments.
• Preferred Qualifications: Technical certification or associate degree; proficiency with diagnostic tools and CMMS; welding and fabrication skills; prior manufacturing experience.
• Skills note: PLC programming and CMMS proficiency enhance capability to work with modern automated systems and detailed maintenance records.

Mansioni

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions using appropriate tools and techniques
• Repair or replace defective components such as motors, pumps, conveyors, and control systems
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance operations
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to restore equipment functionality
