Job summary

Lifting-Gear-Hire-Corp in Nashville, TN is seeking a mechanically inclined individual to maintain rental equipment and ensure its immediate availability for safe use. You will inspect, repair, test, and assemble various hoisting and rigging gear to meet high quality standards.

The role includes forklift operation, driving responsibilities, and occasional overtime. A valid driver's license and DOT certification are required, with full-time hours Monday–Friday. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background or aptitude strongly preferred.
• Automotive mechanic experience or machine shop experience is a plus.
• Experience with heavy equipment operation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and inspections per quality standards.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on rental gear.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and move equipment in warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles to transport rental orders safely and timely.
