Job summary

MiTek Industries is hiring a Maintenance Technician to work with stamping operations, diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment. The role includes preventative maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of new equipment, and adhering to shift schedules with possible overtime.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience, strong troubleshooting skills, blueprint reading ability, and proficiency with measurement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2+ years related experience or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
• Proficient in measuring tools and precision troubleshooting
• Ability to use micrometers/voltmeters/calipers and basic test equipment
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Work with stamping operations to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize productivity
• Install and troubleshoot new equipment as directed
• Attend shifts and overtime as required
• Other duties as assigned
