Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions in Appleton, Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer to study assembly lines, perform time studies, balance lines, and map value streams to identify bottlenecks and wastes. You will develop current and future state VSMs and propose Kaizen improvements with actionable roadmaps.

The role requires a Bachelor's in industrial or manufacturing engineering and hands-on experience with lean methods, standard work, and root-cause problem solving to drive

Responsibilities

• Study Assembly Lines/Processes and identify improvement opportunities per Lean Principles.
• Perform Time Study and Line Balancing across stations and operators; conduct VA/NVA/RNVA analysis.
• Develop Current and Future State Value Stream Maps; identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

Location - Appleton , Wisconsin

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

• Study Assembly Lines/ Processes and identify areas for improvement as per Lean Principles
• Perform Time Study and Line Balancing - Elemental breakdown, Video Time study- All Processes (Stations & Operator), VA/NVA/RNVA analysis, Develop Current State Line Balancing, Muri Analysis
• Develop Value Stream Mapping - Current State VSM - Identify bottlenecks, wastes and inefficiencies, Capacity analysis and Current baselining, Future State VSM, Current state vs Future state
• Identify Process and productivity improvement opportunities for entire process with Level 1,2,3 improvement suggestions report and roadmap
• Develop/ re-write Standard work instructions, Video work instructions
• Analysis of Root Cause for the quality failures, defects, downtimes etc., and support in corrective action & Kaizen / improvement identification with detailed implementation plan
• Support in Fixture design as per requirements
