Job summary

Texas State University’s Ingram School of Engineering invites applications to form a pool of qualified temporary/nontenured faculty for the Industrial Engineering program at the San Marcos campus. Successful candidates teach 1–4 courses per semester based on student demand, with annual evaluation considerations and funding continuity.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field is required.
  • Strong background in probability and statistics, design of experiments, operations research/prescriptive analytics, productivity analysis, human factors, engineering economics, and computational data analytics.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Industrial Engineering courses as needed (1–4 courses per semester).
  • Prepare and deliver lectures and assess student performance.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and program activities as part of the pool.
