Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly experienced Industrial Engineer to serve as a subject matter expert supporting all Power & Controls sites. This Level 4 role emphasizes technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and enterprise‑level performance improvements in manufacturing, digital maturity, and operational excellence.

The IE will mentor early‑career engineers, lead core processes, and manage strategic initiatives across manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years manufacturing operations experience or 5+ years with advanced degree.
• SAP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as IE SME and lead trainer for P&C Industrial Engineers.
• Lead standardization and improvement of machine capacity maturity across sites.
• Collaborate with SIOP and master scheduling to integrate RCCP processes.
• Provide CORE engagement support and travel to P&C sites for improvement events.
• Drive digital manufacturing initiatives and leverage data for performance improvements.
• Apply lean tools to minimize waste and improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Guide and mentor early-career engineers to complete initiatives on time.
• Maximize utilization of production facilities, equipment, and personnel.
• Collaborate to reduce days-to-manufacture and increase throughput.
