Job summary

HumCap’s client, a global electronics manufacturing and technology organization, seeks an Industrial Engineering Leader to drive manufacturing excellence across production operations. You will oversee industrial engineering strategies, continuous improvement, automation deployment, capacity planning, and operational performance improvement.

The role requires leadership of CI professionals and engineers, with emphasis on Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and data-driven decision making to enable growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in industrial/manufacturing engineering or operations improvement.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing engineering or CI teams.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or high-volume production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, value stream mapping, and CI methodologies.
• Experience with labor standards, capacity planning, and production optimization.
• Proven track record in productivity and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the industrial engineering roadmap aligning with operational and business objectives.
• Lead and mentor Industrial and Manufacturing Engineers and CI professionals.
• Establish standardized engineering methodologies and performance benchmarks.
• Drive accountability and data-driven decision making across production operations.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen initiatives to eliminate waste and improve OEE.
• Identify performance gaps using data analytics and implement corrective actions.
• Lead capacity modeling and resource planning to support demand and growth.
• Analyze constraints and develop scalable manufacturing solutions.
• Optimize facility layouts, material flow, line balancing, and workstation design.
• Support NPI and production ramp activities.
• Partner with Automation and Manufacturing Engineering to identify automation opportunities.
