Job summary

Superior Industries Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineering Intern to identify and implement improvements across manufacturing processes in Morris, MN. You will work with production and engineering teams to analyze workflows, layouts, and equipment efficiency, supporting cost analyses and project proposals.

The role provides hands-on experience, a strong learning environment, and exposure to multiple facets of manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes.
• Develop improvement proposals, including cost analysis and justification.
• Evaluate new technology and recommend equipment to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Work with Production Managers to develop efficient manufacturing layouts.
• Partner with engineering to ensure equipment is designed for efficient manufacturing.
• Conduct time studies as needed.
• Assist the Quality Department.
• Support additional projects and duties as assigned.

Compensation

• The starting pay range for this position is $18-$22 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
