Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking an Industrial Engineering Intern to collaborate with IE, Advanced Module Engineering, Finance, Facilities, Manufacturing/Operations Engineering & Product Integration teams. You will support capital expenses, fab capacity data, and help reduce cycle time with advanced analytics.

Responsibilities include documenting processes and SOPs, and contributing to cross-functional process-improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (written & verbal).
• Sophomore at application time; pursuing Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• GPA 3.0+ and good academic standing.

Responsibilities

• Understand capacity planning systems to calculate fab capacity and cycle time.
• Support capital processes and track execution.
• Create documentation of processes, IE specifications, and operating procedures.
• Assist multiple departments to improve factory output using analytics.
• Participate in or lead process-improvement projects.
