Job summary

Forvia is seeking a year-round Industrial Engineering Intern for its Columbus, IN manufacturing facility. The role focuses on updating work instructions for assembly, identifying efficiency improvements, and validating PFMEAs and control plans.

The intern will also track TPM levels and help prepare documentation for new programs and transfers. The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Business or Engineering and demonstrates strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills, with

Our Clean Mobility Division is looking for a year-round Industrial Engineering Intern for its manufacturing facility in Columbus, IN.

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Some of the activities that we are looking for the intern to do are the following:

• Updates and creation of work Instruction for Assembly processes
• Identify improvement opportunities on the production lines (Efficiency) – Cycle times evaluations
• Validate that Control plans with the PFMEAs are matching and are properly evaluated / updated
• Reevaluate the TPM level 1 & Level 2 and develop a tracking for the efficiency of the activities (For Operator and Gap leader levels)
• Prepare all documentation for new programs and transfers.

Minimum education level: Working towards a degree in Business, Engineering or related field
