Job summary

Bridgestone Americas in Nashville is seeking an Industrial Engineering Co-Op to join our manufacturing optimization efforts. You will work on projects that involve personnel workflow, materials logistics, production sequencing and equipment layouts, gaining hands-on experience in a global tire and rubber company.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or related field at an accredited university.
Sophomore–Senior standing; GPA 3.0+.
CAD/AutoCAD coursework completed.
Available to work 40 hours weekly for a minimum 6-month co-op.
No prior work experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

Work on limited-scope problems under detailed instructions.
Establish methods to maximize production facilities and personnel.
Conduct cost/inventory/production control and human factors studies.
Assist plant/facilities engineers with planning and design.
