Job Description
The Industrial Engineer supports operations to optimize operational performance to achieve desired financial and service results, including project management, implementation, training, go-live support, and technical support. Must ensure excellent customer relations and engage in high-priority interactions with clients. Additionally, expand and apply standard methodologies, including configuring workflows for customers and their businesses. Responsible for ensuring smooth, effective operation of multiple concurrent projects across a diverse client base. This position is fully remote.
Requirements
- Work with customers to develop operational workflows for their businesses.
- Develop detailed communication plans and execute them to ensure timely status reports and clear communication.
- Align operational functions within the company with company objectives and client needs.
- Prioritize professional service projects based on value-add, ROI potential, and impact on technical resources.
- Manage customer communications and expectations during deployments.
- Ensure customer SLAs and other service requirements are met.
- Support clients during the "Go-Live" phase, evaluate results, and document lessons learned.
- Test processes using test cases, prepare documentation, coordinate with managers to resolve issues within required timeframes, and inform management of delays.
- Collaborate with the development team to design new programs for client implementations and manage communication to resolve issues.
- Research client issues, document findings, and implement technical activities to support and optimize client operations.
- Maintain technical and business documentation and collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Establish technical project requirements and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Assist clients in monitoring the software implementation lifecycle and customize solutions as needed.
- Train client technical staff on hardware and software issues and identify process issues to provide solutions.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Professional Services, or Logistics Operations.
- Experience with Cloud SaaS deployment models is a plus.
- Project management skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies and apply them to customer solutions.
- Experience in client-facing roles and implementation delivery in consulting or professional services organizations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; Master’s/MBA is a plus.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies related to business processes.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and implementing new software.
