Job summary

Sonwil Logistics in West Seneca, NY is seeking an analytical, hands-on Industrial Engineer to identify efficiencies, improve productivity, reduce costs, and support scalable growth across distribution, warehousing, transportation, logistics, and related operations.

You will lead continuous improvement projects from analysis through implementation, develop process maps and SOPs, and apply Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other methodologies to eliminate waste and boost efficiency across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, continuous improvement, warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience conducting process mapping and workflow analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and develop actionable recommendations.
• Proficient with CAD software.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities to improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost performance.
• Conduct operational assessments and workflow studies across warehousing, transportation, logistics, and support functions.
• Lead continuous improvement projects from analysis through implementation and results validation.
• Develop and maintain process maps, standard operating procedures, and workflow documentation.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
