Job summary

Ingram Micro Commerce & Lifecycle Services (CLS) in Mira Loma, CA is seeking an Industrial Engineer to drive continuous improvement in warehouse and ITAD reverse logistics operations. You will design workflows, conduct time studies, and optimize processes to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.

You will lead capacity planning and equipment considerations, analyze layouts and material flow, and develop ROI models to justify capital investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Operations Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of Industrial Engineering experience, including at least 1 year in a warehouse, logistics, ITAD, reverse logistics, repair, or refurbishment.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, process mapping, work measurement, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience leading moderate-complexity projects and translating data into actionable operational recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and optimize workflows, SOPs, and processes to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability across warehouse and ITAD operations.
• Conduct time studies, labor planning, work measurement, and capacity modeling to establish performance standards and maximize resource utilization.
• Analyze facility layouts, material flow, equipment, and space utilization to drive productivity and safety improvements.
• Lead and support facility expansion, redesign, and optimization projects — including workflow design, capacity planning, and operational readiness.
• Evaluate and recommend automation, equipment, and technology enhancements that improve capabilities and scalability.
• Develop cost-benefit analyses, ROI models, and business cases to support capital investment decisions.
• Manage engineering projects end-to-end, delivering on time and in alignment with business objectives.
• Support ITAD, reverse logistics, refurbishment, and device lifecycle operations by developing and improving testing, diagnostics, and data sanitization processes.
• Monitor operational performance, identify issues through root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with operations leadership to manage SLAs, address customer-related challenges, and improve service delivery.
• Establish and standardize best practices, work methods, and operating procedures for consistent, sustainable execution.
• Promote workplace safety through ergonomic improvements, accident prevention initiatives, and compliance with company policies.
