Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the Pre-Baseline process with stakeholder onboarding and data collection.
  • Lead and support workshops, defining agendas and resources for success.
  • Develop automation, digitalization, and improvement roadmaps aligned with transformation strategies.
  • Benchmark industry technology trends and identify automation solutions.
  • Develop detailed business cases and project charters with financial analysis.
  • Identify efficiencies through process optimization and new operating models.
  • Lead current-state mapping workshops to identify opportunities and build business cases.
  • Collaborate across functions to prioritize and execute CI, automation, and digitalization initiatives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead site roadmaps with effective governance.
  • Manage multiple projects across sites, functions, and stakeholders.
  • Track performance, deliverables, timelines, and financial results.
  • Develop Change Management and Communication Plans for stakeholders.
  • Establish local governance, remove roadblocks, and drive delivery actions.
  • Participate in governance meetings and provide status, risk, and milestones updates.
  • Apply risk management tools to identify and mitigate execution risks.
  • Coordinate equipment purchases, validation activities, and implementation timelines.

Industrial Engineer – Project Management & Continuous Improvement

Ultimate Solutions Corp. is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Engineer with strong Project Management, Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence experience to lead strategic improvement initiatives across multiple sites and functions.

This role requires a professional capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously across different locations, coordinating cross-functional teams, developing business cases, and driving projects from initial assessment and planning through implementation and successful adoption.

The ideal candidate must have 7+ years of overall business experience, including a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing or base business roles, along with demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the Pre-Baseline process, including stakeholder onboarding and collection of business case data.
  • Lead and support physical and virtual workshops, defining agendas, materials, stakeholders, and resources required for successful execution.
  • Develop automation, digitalization, and process improvement maturity roadmaps aligned with MedTech transformation strategies, frameworks, and playbooks.
  • Benchmark industry technology trends and identify next-generation automation and digital solutions aligned with business needs and strategic objectives.
  • Develop detailed business cases and project charters, including financial analysis, metrics, expected benefits, milestones, schedules, resources, and risk assessments.
  • Identify efficiencies through process optimization, automation, digital solutions, procedure simplification, and new operating models.
  • Lead current-state mapping workshops to identify improvement opportunities and develop supporting business cases.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment for the prioritization and execution of Continuous Improvement, automation, and digitalization initiatives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead site roadmaps through effective project governance.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across different sites, functions, and stakeholders.
  • Establish, monitor, and track project performance measures, including deliverables, efficiency improvements, timelines, and financial results.
  • Develop and execute stakeholder Change Management and Communication Plans.
  • Establish local project governance, identify roadblocks, and drive actions required for successful project delivery.
  • Participate in program governance meetings and provide project status, risk, milestone, and performance updates.
  • Apply effective project risk management tools to identify, mitigate, and manage execution risks.
  • Coordinate equipment purchases, validation activities, project resources, and implementation timelines.
  • Support applicable budget cycles, including LRFP, JU, BP, and NU, based on business needs.
  • Document and manage applicable projects within Planisware.
  • Apply FPX (Flawless Project Execution), Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies and tools to drive measurable business results.
  • Coordinate and provide direction to engineers, validation resources, programmers, and other technical resources supporting project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Company Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering – Required.
  • 7+ years of overall business/engineering experience – Required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or base business roles – Required.
  • Demonstrated Project Management experience, including the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously across different locations.
  • Strong experience coordinating cross-functional and multi-site initiatives.
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement, process optimization, operational excellence, and/or automation/digital transformation projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop project plans, schedules, milestones, metrics, risk assessments, and business cases.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate project strategies, recommendations, and results to different organizational levels.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Visio.
  • Familiarity with FDA, GMP, and ISO requirements within regulated manufacturing environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • FPX trained or certified.
  • Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience developing financial analyses and business cases for improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with Planisware or similar project/portfolio management systems.
  • Experience supporting automation, digitalization, equipment implementation, and validation projects.
  • Experience coordinating engineers, validation resources, programmers, vendors, and other technical teams.
