Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in an Industrial Engineer role.
• Ability to use data and statistical analysis to improve processes.
• Ability to interface with multiple business functions (internally and externally).

• Creativity to devise out-of-the-box solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate critical thinking to reduce waste and improve efficiency in manufacturing or operations.
• Reduce machine downtime by implementing new changeover techniques.
• Promote process improvement using best practices in manufacturing methods, labor utilization, and cost analysis.
• Analyze production costs and implement cost-saving methods.
• Analyze data and product specifications to determine standards and quality objectives.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, staff, and management on purchases and specifications.
• Review production schedules and engineering specs to understand methods and activities.
• Study operations to determine worker functions and responsibilities.
• Adjust workflows to match manufacturing sequences and lead times.
• Roll out maintenance and planning processes with client leaders.
• Support strategy on capital expansion and planning.
• Travel as needed to support client sites.
