Job summary

Prolec-GE Waukesha, Inc. seeks an Industrial Engineer to lead major phases of methods analysis, material flow, machine loading, and capacity studies on our manufacturing campus.

You will design and adapt IE functions for computer applications, evaluate results toward objectives, and collaborate with Design Engineering and Manufacturing to improve production efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to analyze methods, processes and capacity.
• Develops plans and programs to identify problems and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Formulates designs and adapts IE functions for computer applications.
• Evaluates results toward objectives and recommends improvements.
• Develops training curves for occupational groups.
• Collaborates with manufacturing management to reduce costs and improve output.
• Identifies problem areas and devises improvement programs.
• Defines reference data for machine loading, plant loading and labor planning.
• Maintains capability records and shares with Sales, Engineering, and Production Control.
• Works with Design Engineering in material analysis for economical applications.
