We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA), part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next-generation stop-fold aircraft.

This position is onsite in Fort Worth.

Manufacturing Technology Industrial Engineering

Bell, a leader in aerospace and the US defense industry, has an opening for an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our Manufacturing R&D team in Fort Worth, TX, to support new and existing Industry 4.0 manufacturing transformations. You will play a key role in enabling the development of new manufacturing processes at the Manufacturing Technology Center (MTC) by supporting R&D projects and assisting in the production of quality products, safely, on time, and on budget for new programs. This position will ensure that we identify and implement the required resources (Man, Machine, Material, Method, Measures) needed to meet these objectives. Additionally, this position will maintain the MTC’s Delmia 3DExperience model and simulation and assist in the implementation of Industry 4.0-based concepts and digital transformation in a manufacturing environment.

This highly collaborative position will partner with operations, programs, facilities, Manufacturing Innovation engineers, leadership, and outside visitors.

What you’ll be doing as an Industrial Engineer
  1. Man, Machine, and Tool capacity assessments
  2. Facility and Equipment planning
  3. Business Case Development
  4. Standards | Span | Planning Work-Flow | Planning Work Structure
  5. Metric and Target Development & Forecasting
  6. EH&S: Ergonomics assessments
  7. Visual and Digital Factory
  8. Kinaxis Rapid Response Maintenance & Analysis - nice to have
  9. S&OP and SIOP Supply Analysis & COE Coordination
Skills You Bring To this Role
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology in Systems, Computer, Industrial, or Manufacturing
  • At least 5+ years pertinent Industrial Engineering, Operations Systems Design &/or Systems Engineering experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Familiarity with AutoCad (or similar tool)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong understanding of OSHA and other regulatory requirements affecting manufacturing plant layouts
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Project Management experience
