Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of lean tools: cycle time studies, line balancing, standardized work, 6S, material flow, capacity studies; proficient in problem solving (5-Why, A3, 8D, RCA).
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes, sequence of operation, layouts and work methods using IE and Lean principles.
• Identify and eliminate waste to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
• Lead structured problem solving and drive lasting improvements.
• Educate and coach staff on Lean concepts and problem solving to foster improvement.
• Manage improvement projects from start to finish with measurable results.
• Use data to identify opportunities, measure performance, and recommend improvements.
• Embed safety and ergonomic considerations into process designs.
