NABRICO Marine Products in Bossier City, LA is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing operations, improve production efficiency, and support growth. You will collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and leadership to develop practical solutions that enhance safety, reduce costs, and maximize equipment and workforce performance.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with lean and problem-solving tools (value stream mapping, standard work, 5S, root cause analysis, corrective action).
• Proficiency with Excel for data analysis.
• Clear verbal and written communication with operators, supervisors, leadership, and regulators.
• Experience leading projects from business case through implementation and results.
• OSHA general industry standards knowledge (29 CFR 1910) and OSHA recordkeeping.

Mansioni

• Build and maintain the plant quality management system with inspection plans, control plans, work instructions, and document control.
• Define inspection and test requirements at receiving, in process, and final assembly; train operators and supervisors.
• Lead nonconformance, corrective action, and preventive action processes (material review, disposition, closure verification).
• Perform root cause analysis on customer returns, internal scrap, and rework (5 Why, fishbone, 8D).
• Track first article inspection, scrap, rework hours, and cost of poor quality; report on the plant scorecard weekly.
• Serve as plant contact for customer quality requirements, source inspections, and supplier quality issues.
• Lead site EHS program; ensure OSHA environmental regulatory compliance; develop policies and programs.
