Job summary

RIX Industries is seeking an Industrial Engineer to improve manufacturing performance, capacity, and productivity. The role collaborates with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Program Management to analyze factory performance and implement sustainable improvements.

The position focuses on capacity planning, labor modeling, time studies, process optimization, and standard work development to support new product introductions and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 6 years of industrial/manufacturing engineering or continuous improvement experience in manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or above.
• Experience with capacity planning, labor modeling, time studies, line balancing, and material flow.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize factory layouts, production cells, workstations and material flow to improve throughput and safety.
• Lead capacity planning, labor modeling, line balancing, and constraint analysis to support production requirements.
• Conduct time studies and establish labor standards for standard work.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, value stream mapping, and 5S initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Develop and monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
