Qualifications

• BS degree in industrial engineering or related field
• 0–2 years in a technical, manufacturing, internship, co‑op, research, or IE environment
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical issues
• Demonstrated ability or interest in working in a manufacturing or production‑focused environment
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and work effectively in a team‑based environment

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve throughput, productivity, cost, on‑time delivery, and overall manufacturing performance
• Conduct time studies and work measurement to develop, validate, and maintain labor standards, cycle times, and standard work documentation
• Analyze capacity, line balance, bottlenecks, and equipment utilization to identify constraints and opportunities for improvement
• Evaluate plant layout, material flow, and workstation design to reduce travel, handling, work‑in‑process, and non‑value‑added activity
• Partner with production, maintenance, planning, and engineering teams to support daily manufacturing operations, troubleshoot flow and capacity issues, and build expertise in the manufacturing system
